Instead of getting all hung up on goals, perhaps a better approach might be to commit to a theme, and your theme can be defined by three words. That’s the idea I discovered in Anthony Iannarino’s blog.
- Bigger: Seek out and take on more impactful work.
- Selective: If it doesn’t work for me, don’t do it.
- Engage: When I commit, give it my all.
One word might even be better, as it would be focused and easier to remember. What word or words describe your theme?
