These days there’s a new politically-charged social issue rising to the forefront of our collective conscience seemingly every week.
It leads the headlines, shows up in our social media feeds, and is invariably discussed among coworkers.
There is no end to the opinions and plenty of divisiveness.
Staying neutral would appear to be the safe move for employers. But is that what your employees want? Turns out it depends on who you ask. Once again, generational differences come into play. Millennials want the company to take a stand. Boomers aren’t so sure.
Of course, if you take the “wrong” stand, you’re going to create some new problems. Think through your options and then step carefully.
