Goals give me energy and focus. I like having goals.
The other day a doc asked me what my fitness goals were. I realized I didn’t have any that were clear and compelling. When I told my wife about the conversation, she thought getting some might be a good idea. As usual, she was right.
If goals help, could anti-goals help too? These are the things we work to avoid. I’ve always been taught to focus on what I want, not what I don’t, but the concept strikes me as a solid one. What do you think?
