It’s amazing to me how many times everyone in the organization will point at the same person when I ask them to tell me what they think is the source of their cultural woes.
And yet that person remains on the payroll. Often with some strong justifications, e.g., “Close relationship with biggest client” or “Just a few years from retirement.”
