If you’ve been involved in any goal setting at work, you may have heard about SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound.
I certainly have contributed to making this concept more popular over the 25+ years I’ve been incorporating it into my work.
Now I see this article, and the author offers some well-founded cautions about SMART goals. They are not the end all and be all.
I suppose I should have know that.
